Kingdoms are hitting the road across Eastern Canada throughout the month of April.  Words from the band are below!
“Kingdudes and Kingdames,

Time for a long overdue blog update! I’m looking at the calendar that’s on my desk right now mapping out the next few months of our lives in the van and it just hit me that as of this moment, we have officially been a band for 1 year, 4 months, and 6 days. Crazy how time flies.

A ton has happened since that faithful October in 2008, whether it was opening for ETID and BMTH at Kool Haus, The Silverstein tour where the amount of support we received was overwhelming, or Daughters of Atlas charting at #90 on the billboard 200. A lot has changed with this band and I’ve learned a few lessons in watching my mouth, but one thing that hasn’t changed and will never change is our love for what we do and our passion for making music that is REAL, and means something.

The more shows we play, the more proud I become of myself and the 4 other guys that stand beside me. We owe so much to our fans, and we continually talk about how they are as much a part of this as we are and we mean it more now then ever. Choreographed stage moves, mosh calls, and fabricated tough guy attitudes have been all the rage for the past little while, and we can’t thank you guys enough for sticking with us even though we’ll never be one of those bands.
(Look at how tame that paragraph is! I must be getting old…)

My apologies for such a rant, but what kind of update would it be without me doing the digital equivalent of listening to myself talk? On to the real news:

WE ARE HEADING BACK TO THE BEAUTIFUL EAST COAST!

We will be doing a run of headline shows throughout Ontario, QC, and the Maritimes with support from Equal Vision’s own, THEREFORE I AM. When we were planning this tour they were my absolute 100% first choice of any band that we could take. I hope to see all of you out supporting not only us but TIA because they deserve it. I can guarantee I will be watching them play every night, and we’re stoked on being able to bring such a legit band with us on tour. We love what we do and we’re always going to work harder to play with bands that we respect.

Before this turns into a novel I’ll get to the goods. A bunch of dates have been posted on the old Myspace and Facebook and there are a few that are being confirmed as we speak so check back regularly over the next week for the finalized tour. The tour that we are currently finishing up with SRTL has been amazing and I can’t wait to a ton of kids from this tour coming out in April.

Love you all
Hutton and Kingdoms.”
